Dash Captain is in early access — we're onboarding sellers in waves.

AgencyAnalytics is a mature, well-liked agency reporting platform: a large integration catalogue, white-label reports, built-in SEO rank tracking, and client portals that agencies have trusted for years. Its pricing is $20 per client per month, billed annually — so the bill grows in step with the client list.
Dash Captain charges $29 a month, flat, however many clients you report on. That single structural difference is most of why this page exists — but it is not the whole story, and there is one gap below that will rule us out for some agencies. Prices here were read from both vendors' own pricing pages on 2 September 2026; check them before deciding, because pricing moves.
This page is written by the Dash Captain team. We are in early access and say so throughout.
Choose Dash Captain if…
- Your client list is growing and you would rather your reporting bill didn't grow with it — ten clients is $200/mo on per-client pricing, and $29 here
- You want to try a real product before paying: we have a free tier, AgencyAnalytics offers a 14-day trial and no free plan
- You report on e-commerce numbers — sales, ad spend, profit — rather than mostly SEO and PPC deliverables
- You want the Captain to write the 'what changed this week' summary instead of assembling the commentary yourself
Choose AgencyAnalytics if…
- You need SEO rank tracking as part of the report — we do not have it at all, and it is a core part of their offer (theirs is a paid add-on at $41.67/mo per 500 keywords, but it exists and ours does not)
- You need a mature white-label client portal with your own domain and logo today — ours is read-only share links, newer and simpler
- You need a long tail of integrations right now: theirs is large and battle-tested, ours is young and mostly in early-access beta
- You want a vendor with years of agency references behind it — a fair thing to want, and we cannot offer it yet

Questions
- Is Dash Captain actually cheaper than AgencyAnalytics?
- It depends entirely on your client count, which is the honest answer. At one client, AgencyAnalytics is $20/mo against our $29 — they are cheaper. At two clients it is roughly level. From three clients up the gap widens, and at ten clients it is $200/mo against $29. If you report on one or two clients and want rank tracking, they are the better buy.
- Why is your pricing flat when everyone else meters something?
- Because metering punishes exactly the thing we want you to do — connect another channel, add another client, build another board. A bill that grows every time you succeed makes you ration the product. We would rather charge a predictable amount and have you use it fully.
- What is the catch with the free tier?
- It connects 2 platforms and gives you 1 live board, and all the free calculators need no signup at all. It is genuinely free rather than a countdown, but it is deliberately small — it exists so you can judge the product on your own data before paying, not to run an agency on.
- Can I move my existing client reports across?
- Not automatically — there is no importer, and we would rather say that than imply one. In practice agencies rebuild a board per client from a template, which takes minutes rather than hours, and you can ask the Captain to add tiles instead of hunting through a widget library.
